Introduction

It is a copolymer of acrylamide and acrylate, which has functions of controlling fluid type to inhibit mud-shale hydrating and dispersing, resist to inorganic ion pollution, reduce filter loss, improve drilling rate and decrease borehole problems and drilling cost. Thus, the drilling fluid with 80A51 has properties of favorable shear thinning, temperature resistance, whose flow pattern index (n) remains low and the flow pattern is easy to regulate. In addition, it can be applied to low solid non-dispersed polymer drilling fluid and dispersed drilling fluid.

Usage

It can be added into drilling fluid, and the addition is 0.2%～0.4% in fresh mud and 0.5%～1.5% in saturated salt mud.
