Introduction

It is an advanced tester that can detect core permeability with water. In the experiment, it can obtain the permeability in differential depth of core in the precondition of not damaging the core and make fluid flow through core in forward and opposite direction by reversal valve. In addition, it can obtain the variation curves of permeability recovery with the depth and output it.

This tester has won the first prize of science and technology progress award of Hubei province and the third prize of national science and technology progress award in 1998, and has been named the national-level new products.

Application

1. can evaluate the extent and depth of damage on core caused by drilling fluid and completion fluid;
2. can evaluate water plugging effects and research on the plugging mechanism;
3. can evaluate the effect of stimulation treatment such as fracturing and acidification;
4. can measure heterogeneity of core permeability.
