The mechanical properties, including elastic modulus and poisson’s ratio of rock, are indispensable parameters for fracturing, drilling, well completion and sand exclusion design. Thus, obtaining the accurate mechanical properties is the foundation of construction. And using the tester, we can acquire characteristics of rock, such as mechanical behavior curve of rock, compressing strength, tensile strength, buik modulus, Young's modulus, poisson’s ratio, pore volume compressibility and horizontal and vertical permeability.
