Introduction

Pneumatic slips —WQ-275-5 are one of power slips which could be used to hold drill pipe, drill collar and/or casing string during round-trip for oil and gas drilling and exploration well drilling. It is ideal to select a new wellhead operation tool instead of manual slip, semi-automatic slip or dual-elevator system. Our newly-developed slips are suitable for ZP275-rotary tables. As they have features such as convenient installation, easy operation, air-operated elevation and subsidence as well as automatic scratching, drilling labor intensity can be reduced greatly, safety and automatism of wellhead operations improved and tripping speed increased, as a result, drilling time efficacy enhanced to some extent.
